Public Relations Office Regulation

The Public Relations Office guarantees clear and accessible information to all those who contact the National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO) for various reasons.

The activity is aimed at:  providing clear and accessible information to everyone about the services offered by the CNAO, thus facilitating its use gathering suggestions and complaints in order to improve the organisation implementing, by listening to citizens and internal communication, processes for checking the quality of services and their approval by users promoting actions in order to improve patient reception.

The deadline for submitting a complaint/report is 30 days. The URP undertakes to respond as promptly as possible, and in any event, as a general rule, within 30 working days.

The URP cannot provide clinical assessments or schedule initial appointments.

Referring doctors: Information on the processing of your personal data
Sometimes, when requesting a preliminary clinical evaluation, we are provided with some of your personal data (name and surname) and contact details. CNAO wishes to inform you that it will store such data in its databases for the sole purpose of contacting you if necessary.  Those data will be stored and processed by CNAO for the duration of the referral relationship, that means that we’ll delete your data immediately as you’ll require it or we’ll do it after 5 years after last referral.
