Thank you, especially for your moral comfort

Dear Dr Borloni, Dear Dr Valvo, I have recently finished the carbon ion treatment for my tumour at your centre, and I think it is time to make some considerations. I came to you very scared because of my disease, but also full of confidence in the new technologies that you were going to use. I must say that this has satisfied me to such an extent that today I can say that I feel much better and I am very optimistic about the positive results that we will see after the;summer when the next check-ups are scheduled. I would like to add, and here I am particularly referring to the moments ""of the treatment"" without excluding the other units I have visited, that I have met people who are very helpful and always ready for moral comfort (personally I also needed this), a smile, some help in general that is very important for all those who are going through this experience. After what I have said, I would like to thank you, Dr Borloni and Dr Valvo, directly for all you have done, and I would also like to ask you to be the spokespersons of my thanks to Dr Bonora and to all the medical and technical assistance staff who have accompanied me during this period.
