An hadrontherapy Centre, employing a leading technique in cancer radiotherapy, cannot avoid to perform research activities developing projects and experiments in all scientific areas involved in the Centre, with the strategic aim to develop an ever better therapy.
The diagnostic and therapeutic instrumentation installed at the Centre need to be continuously developed in order to optimise the therapy. Due to the complexity and to the connected scientific fields of the Centre facilities, this research is crucial applying the progresses in all involved technological areas, in order to IMPROVE the Centre high technology.
